RST850 Highway Emergency Phone
With the growing need for emergency communications on major highways and remote roads all over the world Beam has developed a completely standalone Highway Emergency Telephone solution (RST850) to meet these requirement.

Whilst many areas having limited access to terrestrial based services being able to interface to the Iridium satellite network makes it possible to provide a highway emergency solution anywhere on earth.

Using the already proven Beam technology that was developed for the Remote Community Telephone for outback Australia made it very easy interface to a standard roadside highway terminal.

The Beam highway emergency telephones can be adapted to various installations requirement. Whilst the RST850 is completely standalone and requires no mains power or telephone lines a hybrid of this solution is available upon request.
