MANUFACTURING

For many years now Beam has sub-contracted its manufacturing to Australia’s leading electronics manufacturing company, ready to respond to variable levels of demand in a volatile environment.

Quality assurance at every level By undertaking most of the required testing during the manufacturing process, improvements are accelerated, quality is enhanced and time-to-market is reduced. The appropriate level of testing will be dependent upon product specifics and individual customer requirements. State-of-the-art equipment and qualified personnel is used for testing to satisfy those needs.

Quality processes can cover a full range of controls and crosschecks, from incoming materials through manufacturing to final quality control inspection. The manufacturing plant is consistent with the professional approach to the management of quality and is certified with:

ISO 9001:2000 SAI Global Certification Services (Quality Management System for the design, manufacture and test of PCB assemblies and the assembly, test, packaging and servicing of electronics products).

ISO 13485:2003 Lloyd Register Quality Assurance (Manufacture and test of non-sterile circuit boards for use in medical devices).

In today's world, electronics have become such an essential part of everyday living, from basic domestic appliances to hi-tech healthcare devices, that a poorly manufactured product could in many instances, endanger or jeopardize human life. Careful attention is paid during the quality control phase. It is important that we partner with manufacturers who have accredited instructors and inspectors championing company adherence to international industry standards of workmanship and quality inspection.
